RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Principal FPGA Design Engineer to lead FPGA-based systems architecture, design and verification for high-assurance DoD programs. You will develop in VHDL/Verilog, collaborate with systems engineers, and deliver measured releases across multi-vendor platforms.

100% onsite role requiring a STEM degree and 10+ years of experience, with the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• System-level FPGA requirements specification and architecture development.
• Proposal experience including basis of estimate generation and schedule planning.
• Design hand-off requirements for system requirements and configurable logic.
• FPGA/ASIC design or verification (VHDL/Verilog; SystemVerilog) and device flow tools such as Xilinx or Microsemi.

Aufgaben

• Lead FPGA-based systems architecture and design, selecting parts and CONOPS.
• Establish project processes and plans; drive schedules on time and budget.
• Independently manage projects and cross-functional teams across programs.
• Design, develop, implement and verify complex configurable logic for product improvements.
• Verify designs with directed and constrained random tests and track coverage.
• Create documentation including requirements, verification plans, and user guides.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and leadership; support internal and external reviews.
