RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Principal FPGA Design Engineer to lead FPGA architecture and design across major vendors. You will work on FPGA-based systems for DoD applications with VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog, and intricate verification.

The role is 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ. A DoD Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain one, with responsibility spanning from requirements to deployment and support for reviews and customer interactions.

Competenze

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• System-level FPGA requirements specification and architecture development.
• FPGA/ASIC design or verification (VHDL/Verilog or SystemVerilog).
• Experience with Xilinx or Microsemi devices and flow tools.

Mansioni

• Lead FPGA-based systems architecture and design from concept to production.
• Define processes and operational plans for a project.
• Independently drive projects and execute to program schedules on time and budget.
• May lead large cross-product teams on multi-year programs.
• Design, develop, implement and verify highly complex configurable logic solutions.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Create complete documentation including requirements and verification plans.
