Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer or Principal EW Engineer to join our team in Palmdale, CA or San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA. The role requires coordinating assets, supporting test activities, and ensuring weapons systems readiness on-site with up to 25% travel.

We value a STEM degree with experience in EW airborne payloads and active federal clearances (TS/SCI/SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 2+ years of related engineering experience; or Master's in STEM with related experience.
• Principal Electronics Engineer: Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Experience with EW airborne payload systems.
• Active US Top-Secret Clearance with CI/Background within last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure assets are in place and functional.
• Track deployed assets and report status for anomaly reporting.
• Coordinate with Integrated Logistics Support and attend MRB meetings.
• Oversee repair of Line Replaceable Units at supplier facilities.
• Communicate across engineering, operations, and logistics to implement requirements.
• Support pre-, post-, and in-test activities including planning, briefs, and data validation.
