Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Engineering Program Manager (EPM) for the Baltimore area to oversee engineering scope across major development programs. The role supports the Program Manager and Chief Engineer as a Systems Architect on multiple programs and requires active clearance.

You will drive technical execution, resource coordination, and schedule adherence, ensuring IPTs meet objectives within budget and contractual boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical fields; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical/engineering teams and systems development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Owns cost, schedule, and execution of all engineering scope on the program.
• Drives implementation of the technical execution plan and resources to meet objectives.
• Interfaces with Program Manager and functional organizations to coordinate engineering activities.
• Leads CAM reviews, schedule updates, and CEP/BOE preparation and defense.
• Coordinates risk, opportunities, and staffing plans across IPTs.
