Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Staff Chief Engineer / Engineering Program Manager for a production program in the Power/Control Systems unit. This on-site role is based in Sykesville, MD and requires U.S. Secret clearance. You will own cost, schedule, and engineering execution across IPTs to meet objectives.

You will drive the technical plan, manage resources, lead reviews, and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver on-time, within-budget results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years or master's with 10+ years or PhD with 8+ years in STEM.
• Experience in systems development, integration, and test across the program lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate with executives and stakeholders clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering interface to the Program Manager.
• Provide engineering inputs to program execution reports and reviews.
• Develop and defend engineering BOEs.
• Oversee CAM for all engineering-related accounts.
• Support CEAC, schedule, and financial updates.
• Lead engineering Page and Line reviews for alignment with objectives.
• Facilitate staffing plans and workloads across IPTs.
• Coordinate risk and opportunity management across IPTs.
• Operate in a fast-paced, diverse, team-oriented environment.
