Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA seeks a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for system test leadership. You will drive integrated test plans, supervise lab testing, and coordinate with design and analysis teams in an Agile environment.

Required BS in STEM with 9+ years (or MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years), active Secret clearance, and experience with DOORS/Jazz and software life cycle processes. Relocation benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM discipline with 9+ years related experience, or MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance and sustain program access as needed.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans and schedules for SYSIII testing.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing activities.
• Lead test planning working groups with design and analysis teams.
• Define test configurations and data requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Review test requirements for completeness and quality.
• Conduct system-level technical analyses and evaluations.
• Support readiness reviews and post-test briefings.
• Analyze test data to identify anomalies and assist resolution.
