Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer to lead integrated test planning and system-level analysis within an Agile environment, coordinating closely with design and analysis teams.

The role requires extensive test program execution experience, DOORS/Jazz proficiency, and MQ-4C Triton background is preferred. A Secret clearance and readiness for travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of related experience or Master’s with 7 years or Ph.D. with 4 years.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or in Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within business needs and time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans and detailed test schedules for SYSIII testing.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing activities.
• Organize and lead test planning working groups.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to define test configurations and data requirements.
• Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program.
• Conduct technical analysis of complete systems and prepare evaluations at the system level.
• Support test readiness reviews and conduct pre/post-test briefings.
• Conduct post-test data analyses to support anomaly identification and resolution.
• Maintain metrics on testing status and constraints.
