Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks an experienced Project Controls Analyst to support planning, development, maintenance, and reporting of project schedules for large-scale capital construction projects.

This on-site role collaborates with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to develop accurate schedules, monitor progress, and forecast completion throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to review and analyze contractor schedules and progress updates.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updating complex project schedules.
• Experience with schedule forecasting, baseline management, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project planning methodologies.
• 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience supporting capital construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPM analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Support project controls processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create and manage project baseline schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor schedule performance, progress updates, and forecast completion dates.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule status, risks, delays, and recovery strategies to project leadership.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure schedule alignment and compliance.
• Analyze schedule variances and evaluate the impact of delays on project milestones and overall completion.
• Support project planning efforts through development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and schedule logic.
• Review contractor baseline schedules and ongoing schedule updates for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Produce recurring project controls reports including: Critical Path Reports, Schedule Variance Reports, Milestone Reports and Short-Term Look-Ahead Schedules
