Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced pricing leader to drive corporate lifecycle pricing strategies and governance. You will partner with Merchandising GVPs/VPs, DMMs, and Buyers to shape pricing that supports category goals and campaigns.

You will mentor a team of Pricing Analysts, deliver actionable scorecards, and influence senior leadership with data-driven insights. Strong communication and leadership are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of pricing or analytical experience in retail.
• Expertise in analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques for large data sets.
• Experience with pricing tools and data sources (Nielsen, pricing data, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Pricing Analysts to develop and refine pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Merchandising and category teams to align pricing with product and promotional plans.
• Model pricing scenarios to project impact on sales, margin, and market share.
• Develop data, reporting, and system enhancements for lifecycle pricing.
• Communicate pricing insights and strategy to Senior Leadership.
• Ensure compliance with pricing guardrails and internal controls.
