Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a seasoned Pricing Leader to drive lifecycle pricing strategies and partner with Merchandising executives. You will mentor a team of Pricing Analysts and develop robust pricing guardrails while aligning with product and promotional plans.

You will influence decisions using Nielsen, SQL and other pricing tools, ensuring execution that improves market share and margin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics or equivalent required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years pricing or analytical experience in retail.
• Proficiency with analytical, quantitative and statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Merchandising and other business units to develop pricing strategies.
• Develop pricing strategies for national and own-brand programs aligned with branding.
• Model impact of price strategies on sales, margin and market share.
• Collaborate with pricing managers to set guardrails and schedules.
• Ensure lifecycle pricing strategies are implemented and maintained.
• Communicate pricing trends and insights to senior leadership.
• Mentor and lead a team of pricing analysts to achieve goals.
