Job summary

Meijer is seeking a senior pricing leader to oversee corporate lifecycle pricing strategies and price management systems. You will partner with Merchandising to align pricing with category plans and influence key business decisions through data-driven analysis.

You will mentor a team of analysts, develop guardrails for legal compliance, and present pricing insights to senior leadership, driving growth in sales, margin and market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of pricing or analytical experience in retail.
• Proficient in analytical, quantitative techniques to derive insights from large data environments.
• Experience with SAS, SPSS, Stata and pricing tools (Revionics, DemandTec).
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee lifecycle pricing strategies and price management systems.
• Partner with Merchandising GVPs/VPs, DMMs and Buyers to align pricing with category strategies.
• Mentor pricing analysts and drive team growth with stretch goals.
• Develop pricing strategies for national and own-brand programs; model impact on sales, margin, and share.
• Communicate pricing trends and insights to senior leadership; publish scorecards and reports.
