Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pricing Analyst to help generate revenue by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable arrangements and rate structures. You will work with firm partners, Pricing leadership, BD, Marketing, and Billing Operations to develop pricing options in response to client requests.

You will mentor Pricing Analysts, build profitability models, and support pricing systems and workflows for renewals and special projects. Hybrid work schedule in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or similar field.
• 5+ years of related experience in financial analysis or pricing.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services is desirable.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options for client RFPs.
• Identify rate renewals and communicate proposals to partners for approval.
• Mentor Pricing Analysts and provide guidance on pricing models.
• Build models to assess profitability and investigative pricing strategies.
• Coordinate pricing efforts with Billing Operations, BD, and Practice Groups.
• Develop systems and templates to support pricing, discounting and renewals.
