Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a pricing professional to support revenue generation by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable pricing and rate structures. You will work with partners, Pricing leadership, BD, Marketing, and Billing Operations to develop pricing options and forecasts.

The role requires five years of related experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple pricing projects in a hybrid U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
• 5 years of directly related experience, preferably in financial analysis, billing, accounting or similar type work.

Responsibilities

• Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
• Identify rate renewal opportunities, develop proposals and communicate per deadlines.
• Mentor Pricing Analysts and provide direction on pricing strategies.
• Develop models to assess financial impact and profitability of pricing proposals.
• Perform historical analytics to identify key risks and drivers of fee magnitude.
• Support pricing, discounting and billing rate renewals through systems and templates.
• Ensure billing system setup captures intended pricing arrangements and client notes.
• Communicate progress, wins and risks to Pricing leadership.
