SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - Construction Pricing to shape growth across its national Construction Services business. You will partner with business development and operations to develop competitive pricing strategies for environmental compliance projects, and provide strategic pricing guidance that affects pursuit success, profitability, and long-term growth.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum of five years in commercial management with profitability focus.
Experience developing unit-based, fixed-fee, and value-based pricing models.
Expertise in financial modeling, pricing tools, cost forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Experience supporting pre-award pricing and bid development for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Lead development of pricing strategies for complex, multi-million dollar environmental compliance and construction monitoring pursuits.
Partner with business development, operations leaders, and proposal teams to develop competitive pricing approaches that maximize win probability while maintaining profitability targets.
Evaluate pricing structures including day rate models, labor mixes, staffing assumptions, escalation factors, and risk considerations.
Develop and maintain pricing calculators, financial models, and estimating tools used to forecast labor, field staffing, travel, and project support costs.
Build standardized pricing frameworks for environmental compliance services during construction.
Continuously improve pricing tools to reflect lessons learned from completed projects and evolving market conditions.
Translate pricing assumptions into financial forecasts supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual business planning.
Analyze how pursuit pricing decisions affect backlog, revenue forecasts, and business unit financial performance.
Work with finance and operations teams to align pricing strategies with company margin targets and growth objectives.
Collaborate with proposal managers, capture managers, and technical leads to develop cost effective staffing plans and pricing narratives for proposals.
Participate in pursuit reviews, pricing strategy sessions, and proposal risk assessments.
Provide commercial insight during contract negotiations where pricing structure impacts risk and profitability.
