Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Commercial Architect to lead pricing, risk management, and commercial strategy for large, complex pursuits. You will collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to craft competitive proposals that maximize revenue and margin.

The role requires deep economic understanding, a track record in transformational consulting, and advanced pricing skills, with an emphasis on value-based approaches and innovative commercial structures.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of macro and microeconomic environments and trends affecting client industries.
• Proven success in designing, modeling, shaping, and structuring transformational consulting and related business models.
• Experience with pricing strategies for professional services including cost-, client value-, willingness-to-pay-, and competition-driven approaches.
• Knowledge of economic value estimation modeling and value-based assessments.
• Understanding of client decision-making processes and value journeys to gauge willingness to pay.
• Familiarity with behavioral economics concepts like prospect theory, loss aversion, anchoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership from qualification to close across all pricing, financial, and commercial aspects of risk and strategic pursuits.
• Build trust-based relationships and influence decision-makers across internal and client stakeholders.
• Shape opportunities by integrating client and competitor intelligence, value estimates, and innovative commercial structures.
• Collaborate with solution architects to align design to client response requirements and cost-to-serve guidance.
• Leverage analytics and tools to develop and refine pursuit pricing strategy and offer design.
• Identify, communicate, and manage competitive and commercial risks with stakeholders.
