Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support revenue generation by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable pricing structures. You will work with partners, Pricing Leadership, Business Development, Marketing, and Billing operations to develop rate proposals and pricing options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
• 5 years of directly related experience, preferably in financial analysis, billing, accounting or similar
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP
• Proven ability to analyze data and build pricing models

Responsibilities

• Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
• Identify rate renewal opportunities and gain approvals; communicate and submit by deadlines.
• MentorPricing Analysts; provide direction and support on pricing analyses.
• Develop models to assess financial impact and profitability of pricing proposals.
• Analyze historical matters to identify risks and drivers of fee magnitude for pricing models.
• Support development of systems, tools, and templates for pricing and billing rate renewals.
• Ensure billing system setup captures intended pricing arrangements and client notes.
• Communicate progress, wins, and risks to leadership; participate in special projects.
