Job summary

Textron Systems, Hunt Valley, MD, seeks a Sr Manager of Pricing & Estimating to lead the pricing function for government and commercial customers. You will drive compliant pricing proposals, manage workload, and coordinate input across engineering, finance, and contracts to ensure accurate analysis and adherence to policies.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with experience in FAR/DFARS/CAS and ProPricer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, math, accounting, or related field.
• Aerospace & Defense industry experience preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and CAS with emphasis in preparing pricing proposals.
• Must have in-depth working knowledge of DCAA/DCMA
• Familiarity with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) proposals
• Strong interpersonal, communication, & organizational skills are required.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills are required.
• Experience leading and developing a pricing team is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ProPricer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the department’s performance, staffing, and development.
• Lead the creation of compliant, well-supported pricing proposals for government and commercial customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional input and ensure accurate financial analysis and pricing strategy.
• Plan, manage and review proposal costs, labor, and overheads.
• Negotiate with customers to ensure cost data is current and complete.
• Develop solutions to complex proposal-related problems using established policies and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects and drive improvements in pricing-related processes.
