Job summary

Textron Systems, a Textron company, is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst – Pricing & Estimating to join the Finance team. The role focuses on developing compliant cost proposals, pricing analyses, and narratives to support customer requests and FAR/DFAR compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Economics background and 5+ years of experience, with strong Excel and ProPricer skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 5+ years experience.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Working knowledge of ProPricer is a highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
• Ability to work well with others across multiple disciplines.
• Understands FAR & DFARs principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain cost proposals with proposal managers and teams.
• Analyze labor hour, material, travel, and other cost data for supportable estimates.
• Write narratives to describe and support numeric proposal content.
• Prepare cost/price volumes compliant with customer requests and support post-submittal audits and negotiations.
• Follow established procedures under general direction.
