Job summary

Textron's Bell division in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Estimator, Commercial to support pre-proposal activities and develop price proposals for RFQs/RFPs in the aerospace sector.

The role collaborates with Sales, Contracts, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to build robust estimate packages, review inputs, and ensure compliance with FAR and ITAR requirements. A strong foundation in accounting/finance and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Math is required.
• MBA or Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years of pricing, estimating, cost controls, or related aerospace/DoD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR and government contracting is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-proposal activities and reviews to clarify requirements.
• Utilize historical data to prepare material cost estimates for pricing requests.
• Coordinate inputs from functions, off-sites, and suppliers as needed.
• Perform quality review of cost estimates for currency and completeness.
• Ensure proposal schedules adhere to RFQ/RFP/RFI requirements.
