Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a detail-oriented pricing and cost-estimating analyst to lead proposal efforts, develop cost models, and coordinate with functional teams under FAR/DFARS guidance. The role emphasizes profitability, cash flow, and rigorous cost analysis.

You will perform financial modeling, participate in should-cost and pricing reviews, and interact with DCAA/other audit agencies, leveraging Excel, SAP, and P2P.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations, Engineering, Finance, Material Cost Estimating, or Supply Chain Management.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques and the proposal process.
• Ability to analyze and present complex data.
• US Citizenship is required due to facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy, FAR & DFARS requirements.
• Shapes, develops & matures business case analyses & cost methods for bid/price strategy.
• Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow.
• Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements.
• Coordinates collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from departments.
• Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including NPV & IRR.
