Job summary

Danfoss – Pricing Analyst position in the Americas region seeks a highly analytical pricing professional to support strategic initiatives and drive profitable growth. The role partners with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to manage pricing actions and develop data-driven insights.

The Senior Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally to ensure pricing accuracy, profitability, and effective execution of pricing strategies, with a potential hybrid arrangement after a training period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pricing, finance, commercial analytics, sales operations, or customer-facing business support.
• Experience working within ERP environments, preferably SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily quotation requests, ensuring timely completion in accordance with pricing policies, approval matrices, and business strategies.
• Partner with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to develop competitive and profitable pricing recommendations.
• Analyze pricing requests and provide consultative support to the sales organization to optimize pricing outcomes.
• Perform price, margin, and profitability analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify pricing opportunities, risks, and leakage.
• Maintain pricing master data integrity and help ensure accurate implementation of approved pricing actions.
• Support the implementation and execution of regional and global pricing initiatives.
• Coordinate and support annual price adjustment (APA) activities, including analysis, execution, and tracking.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve pricing visibility and performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement efforts within pricing operations.
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Business Units to drive alignment and execution of pricing objectives.
• Perform additional duties and projects assigned.
