Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal (Level 4) to analyze supplier proposals and support Global Supply Chain cost estimates.

The role is on site in El Segundo, CA, Palmdale, CA, or Rancho Bernardo, CA, with 10% travel and Secret clearance required. The analyst will prepare PCARs, assess price reasonableness, and collaborate with multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline; 5 years of related experience for Level 3, or Master’s with 3 years.
• Master’s degree in stated fields with related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel/Word) and cost/price analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform price and cost analysis to evaluate labor rates, overheads, and expenses; incorporate findings into the PCAR.
• Conduct cost estimating and pricing reviews per instructions and FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Develop negotiation positions with subcontractors and present data for SCM reviews.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Engineering, and Program Management to support proposals.
