Job summary

UKG is seeking a Technology Consultant (Presales) to act as a strategic technical advisor during the sales cycle, bridging business and technology discussions and aligning enterprise objectives with solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, Product Management, and Professional Services to drive customer outcomes, support RFPs/POCs, and help accelerate revenue growth in a cloud and AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution consulting, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, presales engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Demonstrated experience working with large enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integration architectures, security frameworks, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions and strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading customer workshops, executive discussions, and complex solution evaluations.
• Ability to influence decision-makers through consultative engagement and business-focused technology discussions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Customer Engagement: Engage with C-level executives, business leaders, and IT stakeholders to understand strategic initiatives, transformation objectives, and technology roadmaps.
• Solution Strategy & Design: Develop high-level and detailed solution recommendations tailored to customer requirements and business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance: Partner with Product Management, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure successful handoffs and value realization.
• RFP/RFI & Due Diligence Support: Respond to RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and technical due diligence requests.
• Thought Leadership & Presentations: Present solution recommendations to technical and executive audiences and develop reusable assets.
