Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Senior Presales Systems Engineer to support State Government and Higher Education accounts in Rhode Island. The role is remote/teleworker and requires expert pre-sales networking and solution design skills.

You will lead technical presentations, develop proposals, and collaborate with Territory Managers to close opportunities while mentoring junior engineers in the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in networking, in pre-sales or technical roles.
• Strong L2/L3 networking, WLAN, routing and WAN knowledge.
• US citizen or Green Card; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
• Present technical solutions and perform product demonstrations to prospects.
• Develop bids, proposals, and presentations for the prospect.
• Provide pre-sales tech support and post-sales follow-up as needed.
• Mentor junior Systems Engineers in the territory.
