Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Program Manager within Prime Air Expansion. You will serve as Amazon’s senior owner’s representative during the preconstruction phase, sourcing AORs, coordinating design, permits, and contracts, and ensuring scope, budget, and schedule are defined and met.

You will own budgets, manage design and procurement, mentor others, and regularly present tradeoffs to Directors and VPs. Expect 20% regional travel annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external teams (Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, landlords) to secure resources and drive delivery.
• Lead AHJ coordination for regulatory compliance and timely permitting approvals.
• Drive decisions to overcome blockers and manage escalations with sound judgment.
• Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals across all preconstruction projects.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and procurement; ensure SLAs and cost-effectiveness.
• Communicate budgets, schedules, status, and priorities to internal/external stakeholders.
• Run preconstruction meetings to align participants and drive detailed discussions.
• Record and update schedule/budget in Amazon information systems; track developments.
• Represent Amazon in weekly AOC meetings and provide root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
