Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Program Manager to develop and execute nationwide programs for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and facilities initiatives across North America. The role requires alignment across project managers, governance, and executive reporting, serving as the integrator between design and construction teams and other Amazon stakeholders.

The candidate will travel >60% nationally and must be able to work from a corporate office when not traveling, with relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management for new construction, renovations, and capacity improvements of Amazon facilities in North America.
• Coordinate with planning teams and leadership to align goals, strategy, roles, risk management, and reporting tools.
• Support execution teams with centralized processes, reports, escalation management, and issue resolution to reduce site PM burden.
• Work independently in ambiguous programs with minimal leadership direction.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement to identify regional program efficiencies.
• Monitor performance via KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
• Identify resource needs and procure/manage supplemental program resources when needed.
• Resolve design misses and schedule conflicts across teams.
• Review design standards for value engineering and design enhancements.
• Guide changes for validity, impact, and consistency with customer units and ECPs.
