Job summary

This role collaborates across Development, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Construction, Finance, and external EPC contractors to establish executable scope, cost, schedule, procurement, and risk strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering/construction/PM degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in renewable energy project development, preconstruction, or related fields.
• Understanding of utility-scale lifecycle from feasibility to construction execution.
• Experience with EPC solicitations, bid evaluations, and cost reviews.
• Knowledge of solar PV and battery storage tech and equipment considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction engagement, align scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and strategy.
• Assess project maturity across permitting, interconnection, design, procurement, and constructability.
• Identify risks/opportunities, design mitigations, and communicate impacts clearly.
• Provide executive-ready tracking and reporting on milestones and dependencies.
• Support due diligence, opportunity assessments, and red-flag memoranda.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across preconstruction and bidding.
