Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative during the preconstruction phase of facility delivery.

You will autonomously manage complex, cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects — from site selection and validation through design management, permitting, and contract execution — for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives across your

Bachelor's degree
7+ years of PM experience across design to operation
Experience with packaging, processing, or logistical facilities
Strong leadership and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

Autonomously manage complex, cross-functional industrial pre-construction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, and landlords to secure resources and milestones.
Oversee design management end-to-end, including design evaluations and value engineering assessments.
Own project budgets and oversee spend approvals; perform conceptual estimating, scheduling, and cashflow forecasting.
Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and project procurement functions.
