Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager within Global Engineering Services to independently lead cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion and permit execution. This role focuses on creating budgets, schedules, and design management aligned with Amazon's standards, ensuring timely approvals and smooth handoffs to Construction teams.

• 5+ years of project management experience.

• Travel up to 60% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cross-functional preconstruction projects.
• Lead site selection and validation and design management.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with AHJ and permitting agencies.
• Represent Amazon in Architect/Owner/Contractor meetings.
