Job summary

Abbott Construction seeks a seasoned leader to guide estimating and planning support while monitoring budgets and cost histories to improve pricing accuracy. The role interfaces with marketing to enhance brand visibility and drives sales and client relationships across project initiatives.

The position requires a BS in a related field, 3–5 years of construction experience, and strong communication skills, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Marketing and/or Communication or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years construction-related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret manuals, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for estimating and planning support personnel.
• Monitor project budgeting and buy-out processes to ensure reliable information for estimates.
• Facilitate communication of cost history for pricing evaluation.
• Interface with marketing for brand recognition.
• Oversee sales activities, leads, RFQ/SOQ/RFP responses and procurement strategies.
• Represent Abbott Construction in industry events as approved by VP.
