Job summary

ABBOTT ELECTRIC is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to lead complex commercial and industrial electrical construction and retrofit projects. Under general supervision, you will coordinate resources, manage schedules, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates and bids, procuring materials, preparing billings, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading electrical construction projects.
• Ability to prepare detailed cost estimates and bids.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources to ensure timely, cost-effective installation.
• Ensure profitable completion of each project and manage costs.
• Prepare and submit billings accurately and on time.
• Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow.
• Compile project documents and correspondence per company standards.
• Produce bids using estimating software and secure vendor/subcontractor bids.
• Create engineered drawings for design/build projects.
• Incorporate NEC requirements into drawings for plan approval.
