Summary Description

The Senior Estimator leads and participates in preparing estimates for construction projects, performing constructability analyses, compiling bid packages, developing value analyses, and preparing detailed estimates of scopes and costs.

Responsibilities

• Preparing complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for all items within the scope.
• Conducting constructability analyses to identify design and constructability issues.
• Compiling bid packages for complex scopes, accurately conveying requirements to trades.
• Developing cost-effective value analyses by exploring scope alternatives.
• Analyzing site conditions and contract documents to identify unindicated scopes.
• Evaluating subcontractor proposals and managing scope coverage and risks.
