Overview:

Summary Description:

The Senior Estimator leads and participates in preparing estimates for construction projects, performing constructability analysis, compiling bid packages, developing value analyses, and preparing detailed estimates of project scope and costs.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for assigned scopes.
• Perform constructability analysis to identify design and constructability issues.
• Compile bid packages for complex scopes, accurately conveying bid requirements to trades.
• Develop value analyses to find cost-efficient alternatives.
• Analyze site conditions and contract documents to identify unindicated scope.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and manage scope coverage and risk of gaps.
• Create cost efficiencies through ongoing process improvements.
