Overview

Summary Description

The Senior Estimator leads and participates in the preparation of estimates for construction projects, performing constructability analysis, compiling bid packages, developing value analyses, preparing detailed estimates, analyzing site conditions, obtaining and evaluating subcontractor proposals, managing scope coverage, and creating cost efficiencies through process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for all items within the scope.
• Perform constructability analysis to identify design and constructability issues.
• Compile bid packages for complex scopes, accurately conveying bid scope and requirements.
• Develop value analyses to find cost-efficient alternatives.
• Prepare detailed estimates of entire scopes, building systems, and overall project costs.
• Analyze site conditions and contract documents to identify unindicated scope.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and manage scope coverage and risks.
• Create cost efficiencies via ongoing process improvements.
