Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III who acts as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record while supervising Level I and II inspectors across sites.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of precast QC experience, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/117 and state DOT

Qualifications

• Senior precast QC leadership and auditing experience preferred.
• Ability to establish plant QA programs and respond to PCI/DOT requirements.
• Strong communication with engineers of record and plant managers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
