Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across plants, develop QC programs, and drive PCI certification readiness. You will resolve prestressed product acceptability questions with engineers of record and oversee Level I and II inspectors.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast QC experience including supervision, plus strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT specs,

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
