Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality programs and drive PCI certification readiness across multiple plants. You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, coordinate audits, and resolve critical structural questions on prestressed products.

The role demands PCI QC Level III certification and 6+ years in precast QC, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT specs, plus the ability to host audits and work with plant managers and inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
