Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and prepare facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals. You will resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record and audit supplier plants for owners and agencies.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs, and travel between plants on project assignments.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
