Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and prepare facilities for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals. You will resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products and audit supplier plants while supervising Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of precast QC experience, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs, plus credibility

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals
• Lead corrective actions
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies
• Qualify precast suppliers
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects
