Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior precast and prestressed quality authority. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision
• Familiar with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT requirements
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals
• Lead corrective actions on quality issues and resolve structural questions on prestressed products
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects
