Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant QC programs, prepare for PCI audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products. You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants, and ensure compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements while traveling to projects as needed.

Qualifications

PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III is required.
6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specs.
Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
