Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, lead PCI audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies, qualify precast suppliers, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
