Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and PCI/DOT readiness. The role involves resolving complex prestressed acceptance questions, auditing supplier plants, and supervising Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Qualified candidates will hold PCI Level III QC, with 6+ years in precast/prestressed QC and familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs; travel to plants is expected.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions; Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
