Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior QC authority, establishing plant QC programs, guiding PCI certification audits, and resolving complex prestressed product issues. You will oversee quality control across multiple plants and mentor junior inspectors.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of precast experience, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs to PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
