Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to establish plant QC programs, lead PCI audits, and resolve prestressed product questions with the engineer of record. You will also audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and supervise Level I and II inspectors across projects.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of precast QC experience, with strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs. Travel to plants is involved.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors.
