Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, acting as the senior authority on precast quality. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare for PCI certification audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and travel as needed. This role requires PCI QC Level III, 6+ years in precast QC, and experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs per PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
