Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to be the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products at our Mississippi plants. You will establish QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits, and resolve structural questions with engineers of record.

You will oversee Level I and II inspectors, ensure DOT and PCI compliance, and travel to multiple plants as required to maintain certification and owner confidence.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years in precast QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors.
