Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector to lead quality control for prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI audits, and resolve structural questions with engineers of record.

The role requires PCI Level III and at least six years of supervisory precast QC experience. You will audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, qualify precast suppliers, and mentor Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
