Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across our precast plants. You will establish QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III (current) and 6+ years in precast QC, with experience inspecting and supervising Level I/II inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
