Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority, establishing plant QC programs, preparing for PCI and DOT approvals, and supervising inspectors across multiple plants and projects. The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years in precast QC with supervisory experience.

The position involves audits, plant qualification, and collaboration with owners and agencies, with travel between plants and per diem as assigned.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
